Join the sport of cheer! The sport of cheerleading includes sideline cheers, stunting, jumps, motions, halftime routines and competition routines in preparation for junior high and high school cheer.
Registration
When to Register:
- Between April 1 and May 26.
Where to Register:
- In-person: Visit the Palatine Park District at the Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center or Falcon Park Recreation Center.
- Online: You may also register HERE
Early Discount:
- Register by 7:00pm April 15th and receive a $10 discount
Refund Policy:
- Mini Cheer – No refunds after first practice.
- Sideline Cheer – 100% less $5 processing fee through July 31. 50% less $5 processing fee through Aug 6. No refunds after Aug 6
Schedule
Game schedules are determined by the Bill George Youth Football League (BGYFL) and may take a few weeks into the season to finalize.
PAFA Spirit schedules cannot be created until the official football schedule has been finalized by the league and by the PAFA football board.
We make every effort to publish our schedule within 48 hours of receiving the football schedule.
We ask for your patience and understanding as the schedule for the first two weeks of the season may not come out until a few days before game day.

Supplies Needed
All participants must purchase mandatory supplies. Access to the online store will be provided via email in May or June.
First Practice – Please bring the following:
- Water Bottle, hair in ponytail, wear cheer shoes, t-shirt, and shorts
- $125 Check from 3rd-8th graders made out to PAFA Spirit postdated Nov 1 for uniform deposit, check returned at end of season when uniform is turned in (in good condition)
Note: Supply purchases are non-refundable. New participants will spend approximately $125 on these supplies not including shoes (approx $35).
